Quality Assurance history of UD- UED

               UD has been a member of AUN since August 2014. With the vision of becoming one of leading universities in Southeast Asia, UD has always put priority on quality as the primary standards for all training and research activities. In the first half of 2016, UD completed quality accreditation at four member universities: UED, DUT, University of Economics, and University of Foreign Language Studies.
               UED has adopted the quality control in accordance with International Organization for Standardization ISO-9001:2008 standard since 2008 and was certified to meet it in December 2011. UED is now moving to the new ISO standard (ISO 9001:2015), which is expected to be applied from September 2018. In addition, UED has also focused on external assessment at the program and institutional levels. In 2013, the Literature Teacher Education program was externally assessed under the MOET's Teacher Development Project. In March 2016, UED was the first university in Vietnam to reach the standard of training quality in accordance with MOET's new quality standards (issued on March 04th 2014).
     
QUALITY ASSESSMENT


       Participating in the accreditation of international training programs will help Vietnamese universities see strengths and weaknesses, and at the same time be able to step into the path of integration. Students can integrate in the global labor market.

        With the above objective, the Faculty of Physics has gradually built and strived to reach the AUN-QA standard for future training programs. The ASEAN University Network-Quality Asurance (AUN-QA) quality training for schools in Southeast Asia. With AUN, quality is seen as an important goal in asserting international recognition for the integration of higher education in Southeast Asia, and on the other hand, creating synergies and mutual recognition among universities in area.

         The Falcuty of Physics approached the set of AUN standards starting from the establishment of the task force on January 30, 2016 to carry out self-assessment and change of thinking and management. , training activities according to international standards AUN. The Department of Physics is the first department in the University of Education to assign faculty to implement AUN-QA testing criteria for all curricula and special programs for accreditation and achievement.
